YFDA Football Academy Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to players, parents, guardians, coaches, staff, visitors, partners and users of YFDA Football Academy services and website.

Participation in academy activities is subject to registration requirements, operational rules, player welfare standards, financial obligations and the academy’s approved code of conduct.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that minor players understand and follow academy expectations appropriate to their age.

Acceptance of These Terms

By registering a player, attending academy activities, making a payment, using academy facilities or accessing the public website, the relevant individual agrees to follow these Terms and Conditions and other approved academy policies.

A person who does not agree with these terms should not complete registration or continue using academy services without first contacting YFDA Football Academy for clarification.

Eligibility

Admission and continued participation depend on the academy’s operational capacity, age categories and development standards.

Player Registration

  • Registration does not automatically guarantee placement in a particular team.
  • Team placement remains subject to coaching assessment and academy capacity.
  • The academy may request additional information where reasonably required for administration, competition or safeguarding.

Accuracy and Updating of Information

Players, parents, guardians, coaches and staff must ensure that information provided to the academy is accurate. Changes to telephone numbers, addresses, emergency contacts or relevant player information should be reported promptly.

Players should attend scheduled sessions and matches consistently and report at the required time.

Discipline

Players must follow coach instructions, academy rules and reasonable operational directions.

Respect

Players must respect coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, staff, families and facilities.

Equipment

Players must bring and maintain approved training and match equipment.

Health Reporting

Injuries, illness or conditions affecting safe participation should be reported promptly.

Development Commitment

Players should demonstrate effort, willingness to learn and responsible competitive behaviour.

Parents and Guardians

Family Responsibilities

Parents and guardians support safe participation, reliable communication and long-term player development.

  • Support player attendance and punctuality.
  • Provide accurate contact and emergency information.
  • Communicate respectfully through approved academy channels.
  • Avoid inappropriate sideline coaching, confrontation or pressure on players.
  • Follow payment obligations and retain official payment evidence.
  • Inform the academy about relevant health, welfare or participation concerns.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Violence, threats or intimidation.

  • Conduct that endangers another person.

Training

Training Session Conditions

Scheduling

Training dates, times, locations and assigned teams are determined by the academy and may change according to operational requirements.

Changes and Cancellation

Sessions may be delayed, relocated or cancelled because of weather, field conditions, safety, staffing or other reasonable circumstances.

Reporting Time

Players should arrive at the reporting time communicated by the academy and be prepared to begin training promptly.

Coach Authority

Assigned coaches control session organization, training activities and appropriate participation decisions.

Fixtures and Competitions

Match Participation Conditions

Registration with the academy does not guarantee selection for every fixture or tournament.

  • Coaches determine match selection according to team needs, readiness, attendance and development objectives.
  • Fixture dates, venues and kick-off times may change.
  • Players must comply with competition, equipment and reporting requirements.
  • Parents and spectators must follow venue, academy and competition conduct rules.
  • The academy may withdraw from or cancel participation where safety, operations or competition requirements make participation unsuitable.

Attendance and Absence

Regular attendance supports player development, team preparation and competition readiness. Parents or guardians should notify the academy when a player cannot attend. Repeated unexplained absence may affect team selection, program placement or continued participation.

Fees and Payments

Financial Conditions

Applicable fees, payment dates and approved payment methods are communicated by the academy.

Payment Obligations

Fees should be paid through approved channels and within the communicated period.

Payment Evidence

Parents and guardians should retain receipts or other official proof of payment.

Financial Records

Fees, payments and balances may be recorded in the internal management system.

Refunds and Adjustments

Payments are not automatically refundable because a player misses training, is not selected for a fixture or voluntarily stops attending.

Academy participation does not replace professional medical assessment or treatment.

Consent and Approval

Public use of player media remains subject to appropriate consent and safeguarding standards.

Unauthorized Use

Academy images, logos and media must not be used misleadingly or commercially without approval.

Intellectual Property

Academy names, logos, designs, training materials, website content, photographs and other original materials may be protected by intellectual property rights.

Content may not be copied, modified, distributed, sold or represented as another party’s work without appropriate authorization, except where limited use is allowed by applicable law.

The website or academy communication may refer to external services, competition organizers, payment channels or independent websites.

YFDA Football Academy is not responsible for independent third-party terms, availability, security or content, except to the extent required by applicable law or an express agreement.

Service Availability

The academy does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the public website, internal system, training facilities or every scheduled activity. Services may be modified, interrupted or suspended for maintenance, safety, operational or other reasonable purposes.

Responsibility

Limitation of Liability

Football and physical activity involve inherent risks, including accidental injury. Participants must follow safety instructions and disclose relevant health concerns.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the academy is not responsible for loss resulting from disregard of instructions, unauthorized activity, inaccurate information provided by a participant or circumstances outside reasonable academy control.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Personal Property

Players and visitors are responsible for their personal belongings. Valuable items should not be brought unnecessarily to training, fixtures or academy events. Lost property should be reported promptly, but recovery cannot be guaranteed.

Participation Status

Suspension or Termination

The academy may restrict, suspend or terminate participation where reasonably necessary.

Conduct Breaches

Serious or repeated misconduct may result in disciplinary action.

False Information

Materially false registration, identity or payment information may affect participation.

Safety and Welfare

Participation may be restricted where necessary to protect players, staff or other participants.

Voluntary Withdrawal

A parent, guardian or eligible participant may request withdrawal from academy activities through the appropriate communication process.

Withdrawal does not automatically cancel existing financial, equipment or administrative obligations. Outstanding matters should be resolved through the academy administration.

Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information is handled according to the academy’s Privacy Policy and legitimate operational, administrative, development and safeguarding requirements.

Applicable Requirements and Disputes

These terms should be interpreted according to applicable requirements governing academy operations in the relevant jurisdiction.

Concerns or disputes should first be raised directly with YFDA Football Academy through the approved communication or administrative process.

Where an issue cannot be resolved internally, the parties may use any lawful dispute-resolution process available to them.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to apply to the extent legally and practically possible.
